DONATIONS
How do I make a donation?
You can donate online through our secure Ozow payment gateway, via direct bank transfer, or by scanning our QR code with your banking app. All donation methods are safe and secure.
What is the minimum donations amount?
There is no minimum donation amount. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Even R20 can help provide essential stationery for a student.
Can I make recurring donations?
Absolutely! You can set up monthly recurring donations through our online donation form. This helps us provide consistent support to students throughout their studies.
How do I know my donation reached the students?
We provide regular updates via email about how donations are being used. Major donors receive detailed reports, and you can always request specific information about the impact of your contribution.
STUDENT SELECTION
How do you select students to support?
Students are selected based on three main criteria: academic excellence (strong matric results), demonstrated financial need, and commitment to community service. We also consider the student’s chosen field of study and potential for impact.
What fields of study do you support?
We support students in all fields of study, but we prioritize areas that are critical for South Africa’s development: healthcare, education, engineering, agriculture, social work, and business.
Do you only support 1st year students?
No, we support students at all levels of their studies. We believe in seeing students through to graduation, so we often provide multi-year support for the same student.
What happens if a students performance declines?
We work closely with students who face academic challenges, providing additional mentorship and support. However, continued support is contingent on maintaining reasonable academic progress.
TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY
How much of my donation goes directly to the student?
98% of all donations go directly to student support (tuition, books, living allowances). Only 2% covers essential administrative costs. We pride ourselves on minimal overhead.
how do you prevent fraud or misuse of funds
We have strict verification processes for student applications, direct payment to institutions where possible, and regular check-ins with supported students. All expenditures are documented and audited.
Can I see financial records?
Yes, we publish annual financial reports that are available to all donors. We also undergo independent auditing to ensure complete transparency in how funds are managed.
Can I sponsor a specific student?
